Job summary

ASBIS is seeking a Certification Manager to lead the Certification team and guarantee timely, compliant product certification across target markets. You will determine testing standards, coordinate with certification bodies, and advise internal teams on labeling and regulatory requirements.

The role collaborates with government authorities and external experts across the EU, UK & Ireland, Ukraine, EAEU, USA and beyond, with language skills in Russian and/or Ukrainian viewed as a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in product certification or related field.
• Knowledge of testing requirements and procedures for electronics and wireless electronics, including TR RED and UA TR 355.
• Knowledge of product marking and labeling requirements.
• Knowledge of legislation and legal requirements related to product certification and market placement in the EU, UK & Ireland, Ukraine, EAEU (CU), USA and South Africa.
• Experience interacting with government bodies.
• Strong ability to find, verify and clearly communicate relevant information in a timely manner.
• Russian and/or Ukrainian language skills are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Certification team and coordinate certification activities.
• Determine required testing standards and certificates for products in the portfolio.
• Determine necessary product marking and labeling requirements.
• Research and identify reliable information sources on product certification and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants and certification experts when required.
• Process incoming requests for confirmation of product conformity.
• Interact with certification bodies and testing laboratories across the EU, Ukraine, CIS, Middle East and China.
• Interact with government bodies regarding product certification and conformity requirements.
• Search for new certification and testing service providers.
• Identify opportunities to optimize certification-related costs.
• Maintain the database of certificates.
• Provide consultation to employees on product certification requirements.
• Support internal teams with clear guidance on applicable certification, regulatory and labeling requirements.
