Job summary

Base is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer (SQL, PowerBI) to join our data experts team and transform data into actionable insights that guide the company's growth strategy.

You will own the full BI lifecycle—from requirements gathering and data ingestion to modeling and reporting—working in a fast-paced startup with an international team. This role emphasizes deep technical skills and business impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence.
• Understanding of data warehousing architecture, data modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying, performance tuning and data manipulation.
• Experience with BI/data visualization tools; PowerBI experience is essential.
• Proficiency with version control (Git).
• Ability to translate technical details into business objectives.
• Nice-to-have: AWS data components like Iceberg, S3, Glue and Redshift.
• Nice-to-have: AI-driven data structures development.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of BI development: from gathering requirements to adoption.
• Act as a key partner for business stakeholders and data engineers.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions using our tech stack (AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, PowerBI, Git, AI tools).
• Develop comprehensive data models and build interactive dashboards in PowerBI.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and build automated reporting solutions for business users.
