Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Wrocław is seeking a Global Air Logistics IT Technical Team Lead, Perishables to drive the development and evolution of our Air Perishables product landscape. You will lead the design and delivery of high‑impact IT solutions that empower global teams to move time‑sensitive goods efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven software development and technical leadership experience in Air Logistics or Supply Chain domains.
• Strong Java knowledge with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and JUnit; Agile development experience.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Jira.
• Frontend skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS; ideally Angular/TypeScript.
• API and integration expertise: RESTful APIs and Kafka.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration; English fluency.
• Knowledge of Air Perishables or Air operations is a plus.

We are looking for a Global Air Logistics IT Technical Team Lead, Perishables to drive the development and evolution of our Air Perishables Product landscape. In this global role, you will lead a talented team of IT professionals, shape technology strategy, and collaborate closely with global business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction across our Air Logistics network.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or a related field; Equivalent practical experience is considered.
• Proven experience in software development and technical leadership, ideally within Air Logistics, Transportation Management Systems, or Supply Chain environments.
• Strong expertise in Java technologies including Java*/+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, JUnit with hands‑on experience in Agile development environments.
• Experience with modern development tools and practices, including Git, Maven, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira.
• Strong knowledge of front‑end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ideally Angular, TypeScript, or related frameworks.
• API and systems integration: RESTful API development, messaging or event‑streaming protocols (e.g. Kafka)
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and intercultural collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of Air Perishables or Air operations and processes, with fluency in English and the ability to work within a global environment is advantageous.
