Job summary

ENGIE Zielona Energia Sp. z o.o. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the Finance team during a period of transformation related to a strategic project.

You will handle accounting entries, close activities, and collaborate with business partners in an international environment. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, a degree in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and VAT/CIT knowledge. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Practical knowledge of VAT and CIT regulations.
• Accuracy, reliability, and accountability for assigned tasks.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Entering, assigning accounting entries, and posting financial and accounting documents.
• Verifying accounting records and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Analyzing, confirming, and reconciling balances with business partners.
• Participating in monthly and annual closing activities.
• Preparing reports and financial statements.
• Supporting the Controlling team in preparing credit risk reports.
• Supporting the ongoing activities of the Accounting and Controlling Department.
• Cooperating with auditors, financial institutions, and tax authorities.
