ENGIE Poland is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the Finance team during a business transformation around a strategic project. You will join a team ensuring continuity of financial processes in an international organization.

Key duties include posting entries, reconciling ledgers, supporting monthly and yearly closings, preparing reports, and collaborating with auditors and tax authorities. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Practical knowledge of VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) regulations.
• Accuracy, reliability, and accountability for assigned tasks.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Entering, assigning entries, and posting financial and accounting documents.
• Verifying accounting records and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Analyzing, confirming, and reconciling balances with business partners.
• Participating in monthly and annual closing activities.
• Preparing reports and financial statements.
• Supporting the Controlling team in preparing credit risk reports.
• Supporting the ongoing activities of the Accounting and Controlling Department.
• Cooperating with auditors, financial institutions, and tax authorities.
