Job summary

Fresenius Kabi Polska is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team in Wrocław. You will manage end-to-end accounting for Polish entities and ensure accurate statutory reporting.

The role emphasizes compliance with Polish GAAP, month-end and year-end closings, and collaboration with internal and external auditors in an international healthcare environment. Hybrid work model and strong development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or statutory accounting.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger processes and end-to-end accounting.
• Familiar with Polish accounting principles and statutory reporting.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes for Polish entities.
• Perform General Ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including complex accounting transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and accounting reports.
• Ensure compliance with Polish accounting regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
• Contribute to internal control enhancements and process improvements.

Join Fresenius Kabi as a General Ledger Accountant (Polish Entities)

Do you have experience in accounting and want to develop your expertise in statutory accounting for Polish legal entities? Join our finance team and play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy and high-quality financial reporting for our operations in Poland.

What you'll do:

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes for Polish entities
• Perform General Ledger account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
• Prepare and post journal entries, including complex accounting transactions
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities
• Prepare, analyze and deliver statutory financial statements and accounting reports
• Ensure compliance with Polish accounting regulations and internal policies
• Actively cooperate with internal and external auditors
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls across accounting processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance and accounting

What we're looking for:

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, General Ledger or statutory accounting
• Good understanding of General Ledger processes and end-to-end accounting activities
• Knowledge of Polish accounting principles and statutory reporting requirements
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Good command of English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proactive, collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
