Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Transport Buyer with German to join our Gliwice office. You will develop and implement procurement strategies for road freight, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization across logistics categories.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in procurement or logistics sourcing, strong Excel skills, experience with SAP is a plus, and fluency in English and German. You will operate in an international environment and contribute to sustainable mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in procurement or logistics sourcing.
• Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, data analysis, reporting).
• Experience with SAP and e-sourcing/tendering platforms is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies for road freight services.
• Identify market opportunities and trends to optimize costs, supplier performance, and service quality.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving cost-reduction and performance-improvement initiatives.
• Lead supplier sourcing, selection, and contract negotiation activities.
• Ensure achievement of quality, cost, and delivery targets across the assigned logistics categories.
• Manage the Order-to-Pay process, ensuring compliance with internal purchasing policies and authorization procedures.
• Monitor supplier performance, contractual commitments, and continuous improvement actions.
