Job summary

TransPerfect Games is seeking a Game Localization QA Tester with native German to support the localization and linguistic quality of video game content. You will perform manual testing across platforms, write detailed bug reports, and help ensure accurate translations and terminology consistency during localization.

The role involves collaborating with testing teams, using CAT tools and bug trackers, and delivering timely feedback to help clients’ games meet quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Native German language skills with excellent spelling and grammar.
• Strong English testing documentation and team communication in English.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot terminology and linguistic issues.
• Experience with game testing or localization is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, isolate, document and fix localization/linguistic issues and verify fixes.
• Follow and complete Test Cases / Checklists for targeted testing processes.
• Write bug descriptions according to company standards and client specs.
• Apply knowledge of the target market to influence product localization.
• Collaborate with partner teams to test the product and provide feedback.
