Job summary

Aviva Services Excellence Centre is hiring an AI Implementation Specialist to design, build and deliver GenAI applications that drive measurable value across the business. You will develop internal solutions supporting employees, automating workflows and improving decision-making by translating business needs into secure, scalable AI solutions.

The role requires hands-on development with large language models, strong Python skills, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with large language models and LLM-based applications.
• Strong Python coding skills for business applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for generative AI apps.
• Familiarity with APIs and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Awareness of security, data protection, and compliance in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support AI-powered applications using LLMs, cloud services and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with business and product teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Integrate GenAI capabilities with internal platforms and data sources; support context retrieval and agent workflows.
• Contribute to MLOps, automated testing and CI/CD for safe delivery.
• Monitor and optimise solution quality, reliability, safety and resource usage per standards.
• Write clean, testable Python code and create reusable components and docs.
• Escalate risks and help resolve production issues with the team.
