Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks a GenAI Engineer to design, build, and deploy LLM-driven applications and intelligent agent systems. You will blend prompt engineering, pipeline design and software development with MLOps and data engineering to deliver scalable GenAI solutions.

You will lead design, implementation, and optimization of GenAI pipelines, plus deploy APIs, conduct benchmarking, and support pre-sales PoCs across client teams in a remote-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in software or ML engineering.
• 4+ years in LLM/GenAI development.
• Strong Python skills and ML/AI stack experience.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Hugging Face).
• Experience building RAG pipelines (FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma, Milvus) and vector embeddings.
• Familiarity with LangChain, DSPy, CrewAI, LangGraph.
• Knowledge of cloud AI platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI).
• Data engineering basics (ETL, cleaning, schema).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimize GenAI pipelines.
• Develop prompt engineering frameworks.
• Build agentic systems using various frameworks for autonomous/multi-step reasoning.
• Architect and deploy GenAI APIs and services.
• Establish LLMOps: versioning, benchmarking, monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers on ETL and knowledge ingestion.
• Implement GenAI UX layers (chat interfaces, dashboards, plugins).
• Support pre-sales PoCs and cross-functional demos.
