Job Description

The GCM Lead - HR is responsible for transition methodology and tools for supporting central tracking and program-level project management on behalf of the GCM Transition Head, while defining, maintaining, and enabling the transition methodology, standards, tools, and frameworks that underpin the GCM transition program. The role ensures consistent execution quality across all transition waves by providing teams with the guidance, templates, and reporting infrastructure they need.

Accountabilities
Project Management Support
  • Support central program-level project management activities, including maintenance of the integrated transition plan, milestone tracking, dependency management, and issue/risk registers across the full portfolio
  • Coordinate cross-wave planning and sequencing, identifying interdependencies and resource conflicts and flagging these to the GCM Transition Head for resolution
  • Design and maintain program-level transition tracking dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Consolidate status reporting from all transition waves and BU/BFs into integrated programme-level views for governance forums, senior leadership, and external stakeholders
Methodology & Standards Ownership
  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end GCM transition methodology
  • Build and maintain the standardized tools and trackers used to track transition progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and readiness status across all waves and BU/BFs, ensuring teams have a single, reliable source for tracking
  • Embed stage-gate governance criteria and readiness assessment frameworks, ensuring all transition teams apply them consistently before progressing through phases
Enabling & Guidance
  • Act as the primary centre of expertise for transition methodology, providing guidance, training, and coaching to Transition Functional Leads, Wave Managers, and KT PMOs on how to apply standards and tools effectively
  • Establish and maintain a central library of approved transition artefacts, ensuring all teams have access to up-to-date templates, frameworks, and reference materials
  • Identify and close methodology gaps based on learnings from live transitions, continuously refining tools and standards to reflect best practice
Continuous Improvement & Lessons Learned
  • Capture and synthesise lessons learned from completed transitions, translating insights into updates to methodology, toolkits, and guidance for future waves
  • Drive continuous improvement across the transition program by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, and embedding learnings systematically
Education & Competencies (Technical and Behavioural)
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in programme management, PMO, or methodology/standards roles within large-scale global transformation or shared services environments

  • Experience working in or supporting a PMO function with responsibility for central reporting, governance frameworks, and cross-program tracking
  • Experience in GBS/GCC or shared services transition environments, with strong understanding of KT frameworks, readiness assessments, and stage-gate governance models
Technical Competencies
  • Deep expertise in program and project management methodologies and the ability to translate these into practical transition frameworks
  • Strong ability to design and build program-level dashboards, governance reporting packs, and integrated tracking tools across complex, multi-wave transition portfolios
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools and ability to drive adoption of standardised tooling across transition teams
Behavioural Competencies
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive adoption of standards and frameworks across teams that do not directly report into this role
  • Clear and proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills across diverse, global teams
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong attention to delivery commitments and accountability
