VELUX GBS is pursuing a senior AI leader to drive adoption, implementation, and scaling of AI across the Global Business Services. You will connect business needs with technology to turn AI opportunities into measurable impact.

You will join the Business Optimisation Department and report to the Senior Manager. The team focuses on LEAN, RPA, Automation, and Data Analytics, with a culture of trust, collaboration, and supportive growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital transformation, analytics, automation, AI, data science, or technology-enabled business improvement.
• Proven track record of leading and implementing AI, Generative AI, machine learning, automation, or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms and enterprise productivity tools such as Microsoft Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, OpenAI, AWS, or Google AI.
• Strong understanding of business case development, ROI assessment, and benefits tracking.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, security, risk management, and responsible AI principles.
• English proficiency at C1 level

Responsibilities

• Identify AI opportunities across GBS – build strategy and roadmap for the initiatives, assess Business cases, ROI and implementation feasibility, translate challenges into AI-enabled solutions.
• Support GBS Leaders in prioritizing AI initiatives
• Drive the execution of the company’s AI strategy within GBS, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and business objectives.
• Identify and scale high-value AI and Generative AI use cases that improve operational efficiency, service quality, employee experience, and customer outcomes.
• Bridge business and technology by fostering strong collaboration between GBS, IT and external partners.
• Drive AI adoption and maturity across GBS through stakeholder engagement, capability building, training, and change management.

Join VELUX GBS and help shape how AI transforms our business. In this senior role, you’ll drive the adoption, implementation, and scaling of AI solutions across GBS, connecting business needs with technology and turning AI opportunities into measurable impact.

You will join the Business Optimisation Department and report directly to the Senior Manager. The team consists of 10 members responsible for LEAN, RPA, Automation and Data Analytics initiatives. Your Responsibilities:

• Identify AI opportunities across GBS – build strategy and roadmap for the initiatives, assess Business cases, ROI and implementation feasibility, translate challenges into AI-enabled solutions.
• Support GBS Leaders in prioritizing AI initiatives

Key qualifications / competencies

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in digital transformation, analytics, automation, AI, data science, or technology-enabled business improvement.
• Proven track record of leading and implementing AI, Generative AI, machine learning, automation, or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms and enterprise productivity tools, such as Microsoft Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, OpenAI, AWS, or Google AI.
• Strong understanding of business case development, ROI assessment, and benefits tracking.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, security, risk management, and responsible AI principles.
• English proficiency at C1 level
• Excellent business communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate challenging stakeholder relationships, build trust, and influence effectively.
• Networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with people across different functions, levels, and backgrounds.
