MOL Polska is hiring a Gastro Category Manager to lead category strategies across our growing gastro portfolio at service stations. You will oversee supplier contracts, pricing and promotions, and align with sales planning to maximize performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in a similar retail/gastro function, with strong FMCG knowledge, analytical skills, and excellent English. Join a dynamic, international team in Poland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, economics, marketing, trade, business, food technology, or related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar retail/gastro role.
• Very good commercial knowledge; strong FMCG expertise.
• Category management knowledge; ability to build and implement strategies.

Responsabilités

• Supervise selected gastro categories at service stations.
• Ensure proper implementation of supplier contracts in assigned categories.
• Negotiate with suppliers and producers.
• Analyze assortment, pricing and promotional needs at service stations.
• Settle marketing services with suppliers/producers.
• Participate in sales planning for gastro categories.
• Analyze sales in subordinate categories; manage category life cycles.
• Develop and adjust planograms; plan and implement promotions.
• Make sales forecasts and execute annual category plans.
• Monitor market trends for the categories.

You will have unique chance to shape gastro offering by:

Gastro Category Manager (K/M)

• min. bachelor's degree - preferred in the fields of management, economics, marketing, trade, business, food technology, or a related area
• min. 3 years' experience in a similar position in the retail /gastro industry;
• very good commercial knowledge, advanced knowledge of FMCG
• Knowledge of the service station or foodservice market will be an additional asset.
• knowledge of category management;
• ability to build and implement product category strategies;
• ability to identify opportunities and threats in ongoing projects;
• proficiency in MS Office - especially Excel and Power Point;
• ability to think analytically and work with large amounts of data;
• ability to work under time pressure, teamwork, communication skills, flexibility;
• driving licence (cat. B)
• English language – very good command, both spoken and written

You will have a unique opportunity to shape category functioning through:

• supervision of selected gastro categories at petrol stations
• supervising the proper implementation of contracts with suppliers in the assigned categories;
• negotiations with suppliers and producers
• analysing assortment, pricing and promotional needs at service stations;
• settlement of marketing services with suppliers/producers;
• participating in the sales planning process for gastro ;
• analysing sales in subordinate categories;
• managing assigned product categories (introduction to sales, monitoring of sales, withdrawal from sales, negotiation of purchase prices, setting of selling prices);
• developing and ordering changes to planograms;
• planning and implementing promotional activities within the assigned categories;
• making sales forecasts in assigned categories and executing annual category plans;
• tracking market trends for the categories;
