Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Poland to contribute to gas turbine and aero-engine development. You will execute general and detailed design tasks, support manufacturing, and assist in aftersales/service engineering for lifetime extension.

You will participate in design reviews and work with a multidisciplinary team to meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets. Strong CATIA V5/AutoCAD skills and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in power/energy/industrial applications.
Familiarity with steam turbine design and working principles.
Proficiency with CATIA V5 and AutoCAD.
Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
Analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented with multi-tasking ability.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multinational environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare design and quality documentation and layouts using CATIA/AutoCAD in line with standards.
Define material specifications for various steam turbine components.
Carry out calculations and analyses related to these components.
Collect and analyze technical data.
Respond to client comments with comprehensive answers.
Participate in design and technical reviews (internal/external).
Meet deadlines for documentation and budgets.
