Job summary

Acclaim AI is seeking an experienced MLE specializing in Speech Tech and ASR to join a fully remote Europe team. You will design and optimize ASR models, collaborate with product and data teams, and contribute to production-ready pipelines.

The role emphasizes efficient, low-latency deployment, modern ML tooling, and state-of-the-art speech recognition methods, with a startup‑like pace and enterprise stability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in speech recognition or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of state-of-the-art ASR techniques and models.
• Experience with Streaming ASR Models (e.g., Conformer).
• Familiarity with ASR evaluation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize ASR models to maximize recognition accuracy.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate ASR into user-facing products.
• Partner with data teams to build efficient audio data pipelines from preprocessing to training.
• Regularly update and refine ASR models to handle diverse domains and accents.
• Stay up-to-date with ASR advancements and bring in new techniques for production.
• Rigorously test and validate models to meet standards.
