BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a Full Stack Developer (with AI) to drive AI-enabled digital banking features across Netbank and Mobile Banking for a large user base. You will own full development lifecycle, contribute to frontend and backend tasks, and mentor peers in an agile setting.

The role offers remote flexibility up to 8 days per month with a strong preference for in-office collaboration, reporting to the Head of Development Digital Bank Team.

Job description

You will join our Digital Banking 2.0 Initiative in Digital Channels Domain. The Digital Banking Team is in charge of implementation of new functionalities in Netbank and Mobile Banking application. This is an opportunity to work on BEC's most customer-facing digital products, delivering modern Mobile Banking solutions used every day by thousands of end users. As a Full Stack Developer (with AI), you will play a key role in an agile product team, driving the development and delivery of customer-facing digital banking solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital banking in Denmark by building high-quality features that directly impact the daily experience of thousands of end users.

Apart from delivering on client-facing Digital Banking features you will bring your AI expertise and help us deliver AI Assistant in a large-scale products (Netbank and Mobile Bank which is used by :1 mln users).

You will take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from understanding business needs and functional requirements to designing robust technical solutions and ensuring they meet critical non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainability. Working across both frontend and backend tasks, you will contribute to implementing new Mobile Banking functionalities, but also continuous platform improvements, incident resolution and others.

Beyond hands-on development, you will act as a technical leader within the team, conducting code reviews, mentoring less experienced developers, promoting engineering best practices, and helping shape architectural decisions. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, Architects, and other engineering teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions that create lasting value for customers and the business.

We are looking for someone who combines excellent coding skills with a holistic product and delivery mindset, understands the bigger picture, and can translate complex requirements into scalable, reliable, and user-centric solutions.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month for now, but we will expect that this will be changed to 80% in office. Your direct manager will be Head of Development Digital Bank Team Sebastian Gos.

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Processing bank requirements together with business analysts to transform customersrequirements into feasible development tasks, balancing functional and non-functionalrequirements
• The whole development lifecycle: from technical analysis of stories and bugs, technicaldesign, to development, dev testing and release;
• Driving end-to-end delivery of new features, from analysis and design throughdevelopment, testing, release, and support.
• Acting as a trusted technical contributor, driving engineering excellence, code quality, and successful delivery outcomes across the team.

To succeed you will have:

• Practical experience implementing AI assistants in large-scale, client-facing products
• 5+ experience in Front end development(3+ in Angular preferably latest versions)
• Experience working with micro frontends or hybrid apps architecture (at least one is
• a must)
• Experience with complex Angular applications, components, modules, services, rxjs,
• observables, signals
• Experience working with ngrx and state management
• Experience setting and managing nx/nrwl, npm, Node.js
• 5+ experience in Back end development(3+ in Java preferably latest/modern versions)
• Experience working with Java REST APIs
• Technical experience with Spring or Spring Boot
• Passion for building stable and secure applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with working in an agile team and being an active part in agile events
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
