Job summary

BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer to enhance our OpenUI Platform and Netbank frontend. You will work in an agile team, developing front-end features, integrating data, and handling incidents to keep services stable.

The role emphasizes Angular, micro frontends, and modern web tech in a hybrid setup with occasional in-office presence in Warsaw. You will report to the Head of Digital Bank Foundation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Front end development, preferably Angular
• Experience with micro frontends or hybrid apps architecture
• Experience with complex Angular apps, components, modules, services, rxjs
• Experience with NginX and state management
• Experience with nx/nrwl, npm, Node.js
• Technical experience with Spring or Spring Boot
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Job description

You will join our Digital Bank Foundation, which is in charge of Net and mobile bank and ensures stable and secure operations for both the banks and their customers on these applications. We see this as one of BEC’s diamonds and deliver to more than 1 mill. end users.

The Platform engineer is a crucial part of an agile team, maintaining and delivering new functionality to the end users. This position will give you the opportunity to provide a substantial change to the Danish banking Industry and end users satisfaction. The open position will have to focus on maintaining & developing front-end core on our OpenUI Platform, monitoring, incidents handling, developing API’s and off course general maintenance. You will work together with other colleagues who present their applications on Net and mobile bank, around in our organization.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month for now, but we will expect that this will be changed to 80 % in office. Your direct manager will be Head of Digital Bank Foundation Heidi Bjarnø Hagman.

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Processing of bank requirements together with business analysts to transform customer requirements into feasible development tasks.
• The whole development lifecycle: from technical analysis of stories and bugs, technical design, to development, dev testing and release
• Maintain and develop data integrations - 80% maintenance, 20% development
• Ad hoc handling of any incidents reported by customers, to ensure that operational issues on the Netbank application are resolved.

To succeed you will have:

• 5+ experience in Front end development(3+ in Angular preferably latest versions)
• Experience working with micro frontends or hybrid apps architecture (at least one is a must)
• Experience with complex Angular applications, components, modules, services, rxjs, observables, signals
• Experience working with NginX and state management
• Experience setting and managing nx/nrwl, npm, Node.js
• Technical experience with Spring or Spring Boot
• Passion for building stable and secure applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with working in an agile team and being an active part in agile events
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Experience with OpenShift (Paas)
• DevOps experience, Scrum/Agile mindset
