Job summary

Cloudfide is hiring a Fullstack Engineer to build a services portal powered by a conversational AI assistant. You’ll work across the stack from React interfaces to Python services, delivering a secure, accessible, and responsive application for users and support agents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a fullstack role.
• Strong React (ideally React 19) and TypeScript.

• LLM-based apps or agentic AI solutions with prompting, tool calling, RAG, evaluation.
• WCAG accessibility knowledge.
• Fluent English for collaboration with clients and international teams.
• Agent frameworks or MCP servers experience.
• Conversational assistants or customer support solutions experience.
• Azure services including Azure OpenAI familiarity.
• Web and LLM security best practices.
• Testing with Vitest, Playwright, pytest.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a modern web portal with React 19, TS, Tailwind CSS, focusing on UI quality and accessibility.
• Develop backend services and APIs in Python 3 and FastAPI.
• Implement REST APIs and real-time Server-Sent Events streaming end-to-end, including streaming AI responses.
• Build and evolve the conversational AI assistant using agentic AI patterns (tool calling, knowledge retrieval, multi-step workflows).
• Design escalation flows from AI to human agents and implement secure authentication with OAuth 2.0 / OIDC including MFA.
• Setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks and deliver end-to-end features.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to docs and best practices.
• Share knowledge and foster learning within the team.

As a Fullstack Engineer, you will build a services support portal powered by a conversational AI assistant. Your goal will be to deliver a polished, secure, accessible, and responsive application where users and support agents can easily find knowledge and elevate to human support when needed.

Your Responsibilities

Designing and building a modern web portal with React 19, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, with strong attention to UI quality, accessibility, and responsiveness.

Developing backend services and APIs in Python 3 and FastAPI.

Implementing REST APIs and real-time Server-Sent Events streaming, end to end, including streaming AI assistant responses to the UI.

Building and evolving the conversational AI assistant using agentic AI patterns, including tool calling, knowledge retrieval, and multi-step workflows.

Designing seamless escalation flows from the AI assistant to human support agents.

Implementing secure authentication and authorization with OAuth 2.0 / OIDC (Azure AD via MSAL or Ping), including MFA, for both users and agents.

Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.

Translating business requirements into well-structured technical tasks and delivering features end-to-end.

Conducting code reviews and contributing to documentation and best practices.

Sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative learning culture within the team.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience in a fullstack development role.

Strong proficiency in React (ideally React 19) and TypeScript.

Solid experience with Python 3 and FastAPI.

Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and modern frontend tooling.

Practical experience with REST APIs and Server-Sent Events (or similar streaming mechanisms), end to end.

Experience with OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication flows, including Azure AD (MSAL) or Ping, and MFA.

Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience building LLM-based applications or agentic AI solutions, with a good understanding of core concepts such as prompting, tool calling, RAG, and evaluation.

Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design.

Proactive and curious mindset, comfortable working in dynamic, evolving project environments.

Fluent English communication, able to collaborate effectively with clients and international teams.

Experience with agent frameworks or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.

Experience building conversational assistants or customer support solutions.

Familiarity with MS Azure services, including Azure OpenAI.

Knowledge of security best practices for web and LLM-based applications.

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Vitest, Playwright, pytest).
