Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a senior Python backend developer to design, build, and maintain scalable services on Microsoft Azure. You will work on distributed systems with Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, and serverless features, building RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI or Django.

You will implement CI/CD, automated testing, and Docker-based deployments in production. Strong English communication and Agile/Scrum collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in Python backend development at a senior level.
• Hands-on distributed services experience on Microsoft Azure.
• Azure Databricks with Unity Catalog and serverless features.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Experience with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• CI/CD pipelines, testing and deployment workflows.
• Docker in production environments.
• Celery for async processing and scheduled tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop software on Microsoft Azure with Azure Databricks.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based Azure solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Work with Docker in production environments.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in code reviews.
