Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading teams on complex IT or software projects.
• Strong backend development expertise (Python, Java Spring, or similar).
• Experience shaping architecture strategies for large systems.
• Experience with a major frontend framework and backend.
• Knowledge of security, observability, and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams on large-scale, complex systems and data pipelines.
• Own the technical vision and architecture of the system, designing scalable, secure solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical strategies and execution plans.
• Create and communicate architecture diagrams, data models, and ADRs.
• Define and manage delivery plans aligning technical work with business priorities.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop engineers to foster growth and ownership.
• Support talent assessment and hiring decisions to ensure strong team composition.
