Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java 17+ (preferably Java 21), Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Strong frontend experience with React, TypeScript, and modern state management libraries (React Query, Zustand).
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and migrations.
• Proven experience designing production-grade REST APIs with versioning, auth, pagination, validation, and error handling.
• Solid testing mindset with unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git, trunk-based development, PR reviews, and code quality enforcement.
• Cloud-native knowledge (AWS).
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures (Kafka) desirable.
