Job summary

KIS is seeking a Tech Lead to guide a growing team on a global project with ongoing market expansion. You will lead feature development and provide technical and business insight in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

The role combines ownership of major system components with collaboration across business and technical stakeholders, including occasional travel to markets.

Qualifications

Main Responsibilities

• Lead a team working on large and complex systems;
• Communicate regularly with business stakeholders to understand and align with business goals;
• Interface with complex enterprise environments to design integrations and solutions that meet business needs;
• Actively contribute to the codebase and support less experienced developers;
• Manage a development backlog of bug fixes and feature requests across active and upcoming markets;
• Coordinate the rollout of new features and support global expansion efforts;
• Occasionally travel to key markets to collaborate with in-field teams and support feature planning or deployments;
• Ensure a high standard of communication in English, both written and verbal, with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

• Experience with leadership on IT projects
• Solid knowledge of backend development with Java/Spring Boot;
• Strong frontend experience with React or Angular;
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL);
• Experience with mobile application projects is a plus;
• Comfortable working across both new feature development and production support;
• Excellent English skills for team communication and stakeholder engagement;
• Strong organizational and planning skills;
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
• Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business value;
• Willingness to travel occasionally (US, LATAM).
