Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a motivated Mid-level Full Stack Developer to join our team responsible for Pricing & Quote Products. You will develop and support modern web applications using Java on the backend and Angular on the frontend, helping deliver reliable solutions for our global customers.

You'll design and consume REST APIs, build responsive interfaces with Angular and TypeScript, and contribute to code quality and best practices.

• Professional experience as a Full Stack Developer with Java backend and Angular frontend.
• Solid Java backend development experience and Angular/TypeScript knowledge.
• Experience designing, developing and consuming REST APIs.

We are looking for a motivated Mid-level Full Stack Developer to join our team responsible for Pricing & Quote Products. Our team develops and maintains a portfolio of global, customer-facing applications that support the pricing and quotation of logistics services. As part of the team, you will contribute to building and enhancing modern web applications using Java on the backend and Angular on the frontend, helping us deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly solutions for our global customers.

How you create impact

• Develop and maintain modern full stack web applications using Java on the backend and Angular with TypeScript on the frontend .

• Design, implement and maintain REST APIs to enable seamless integration between frontend and backend services.

• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular, TypeScript and modern frontend technologies.

• Develop backend services and business logic using Java and established software engineering best practices.

• Build reusable Angular components and apply core concepts such as RxJS, dependency injection and lifecycle hooks.

• Write clean, testable and maintainable code, contributing to scalable software architecture.

• Collaborate with product owners, designers and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features.

• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement of development practices.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, support code generation and refactoring and enhance software quality while maintaining responsibility for the code you deliver.

What we would like you to bring

• Professional experience as a Full Stack Developer , with a focus on Java-based backend development and Angular frontend development.

• Solid experience with Java and backend application development.

• Good knowledge of Angular and TypeScript , including component-based application development.

• Experience designing, developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Understanding of clean code principles, common design patterns and maintainable software architecture.

• Familiarity with testing practices and tools for ensuring software quality

• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger

• Interest in AI-assisted software development and willingness to explore how AI tools can improve engineering workflows

• A collaborative mindset, curiosity and strong problem-solving skills
