Job summary

DCG is recruiting an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our growing team in Poland. You will design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and SQL, while enhancing microservices architectures and ensuring secure coding practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and explore AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Full Stack Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and Angular Material for frontend development.
• Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and relational databases using SQL.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized application environments.
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, including findings from SAST and container security scans.
• Good understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP security principles.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
• Basic familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or willingness to explore and adopt AI‑powered solutions.
• Good command of English (minimum B1+/B2 level)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and SQL.
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures with clean, scalable code.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal and external systems.
• Implement new features and improve existing Commercial Cards applications.
• Ensure application security by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities detected through SAST, container scanning, and penetration testing.
• Apply secure coding practices and OWASP principles throughout the SDLC.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, defects, and production incidents.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Improve application performance, availability, resilience, and quality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations in Agile/Scrum.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and guidelines.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot to improve coding efficiency and testing.
• Explore opportunities to introduce AI agents and intelligent automation into development and operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering efficiency, automation, security, and software quality.
