Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Verification Assurance Officer in Wick, Scotland to work on frontline fraud verification and education initiatives. The role is full-time and permanent, with frequent site travel and close collaboration with Jobcentre colleagues to verify documents and prevent fraud.

The successful candidate will conduct interviews, manage verification processes and contribute to MI reporting while upholding Disability Confident standards.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Conduct initial and further evidence interviews to verify identification, housing costs, and childcare costs.
• Conduct robust interviews where there is suspicion about document validity used for verification of identification, housing costs, and childcare elements of Universal Credit.
• Lead customer education sessions with Jobcentre colleagues to explain customer responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance.
• Collate and maintain accurate Management Information (MI) as directed by analysts and performance teams.
• Frequent travel between sites may be required.
