Job summary

Flying Bisons seeks an experienced UX Designer to design world-class user experiences for web and mobile products on a freelance, B2B basis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, strategists, data analysts, product managers, and developers to translate business needs into compelling design solutions.

You will contribute to large design systems, perform user research, and optimize interfaces with analytics insights.

Qualifications

• Solid portfolio of commercial UX design projects.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile design principles.

Responsibilities

• Create best-in-class design solutions and user experiences.
• Map user flows, IA, wireframes, and interfaces.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements and are consistent across the product.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders.
• Participate in research and identify opportunities for enhancements.
• Review and improve products using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar.
• Translate business requirements into engaging design solutions.

Scope of services

• Creating best-in-class design solutions and user experiences
• Mapping user flows, defining information architecture, designing wireframes and interfaces
• Ensuring the designs meet project requirements and standards, and are consistent across the product
• Involving in research to understand how the product is performing and identifying opportunities for further enhancements
• Reviewing and improving current products, with continuous optimisation through analytics tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar
• Working in an end-to-end digital process
• Visualising your ideas and inspiring others
• Experience working with large design systems
• Communicating directly with client stakeholders on the areas you deliver.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to align design objectives and project goals
• Working on a big project involving multiple international and multidisciplinary teams of researchers, strategists, data analysts, product managers, product owners, and developers to translate business requirements into engaging design solutions

What skills and experience do we expect?

• Strong portfolio of commercial projects
• Full understanding of the best design processes and how to tailor them to user and client needs
• Understanding of web and mobile design principles, including responsive and adaptive design
• Understanding of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar
• Familiarity with designing for accessibility and inclusive design practices
• Good command of written and spoken English (minimum B2 level)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proactive attitude, with the ability to solve problems and figure things out
