BlackLine in Kraków is seeking a founding Manager, Software Engineering for the new Business Intelligence & Analytics Engineering team. You will hire and grow a multi-disciplinary team focused on data pipelines, Snowflake models, and Power BI dashboards, delivering AI-enhanced analytics for enterprise finance platforms.

You will partner with product leadership to align priorities, build modern data platforms, and establish engineering standards while shaping a culture of AI-accelerated

Qualifications

Proven experience leading and growing engineering teams.
Strong technical foundation in data engineering and analytics.
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and analytics tools.
Experience with Snowflake, Fabric, and Power BI.
Familiarity with AI-enabled development and agentic AI concepts.

Responsibilities

Lead the Krakow BI & Analytics Engineering Team from day one.
Deliver the Snowflake Analytics Platform and customer-facing Power BI dashboards.
Drive the Agentic AI roadmap and integrate AI tools (e.g., Claude) into workflows.
Coach and grow team members, aligning with product leadership and delivery goals.
Maintain high engineering standards across data pipelines, AI agents, and analytics.
