Nomtek seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead client-embedded AI projects. You will architect backend systems, design agentic workflows, and deliver working solutions across multi-agent AI environments.

You will align technical work with business outcomes in fast-paced client engagements. The role demands deep AI expertise, strong backend fundamentals, and the ability to communicate with C-level stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong AI/agentic focus and understanding of autonomous agents and tool use.
• Solid production experience in backend architectures and scalable systems.
• Ability to navigate modern web stacks with frontend versatility.
• Proven track record in pre-sales or client-facing consulting to translate tech to business value.
• Fluent Polish and English at C1 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and deploy production-ready AI systems focusing on multi-agent frameworks and prompt-engineering/RAG pipelines.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be the leader of this movement. You will embed directly into client ecosystems to solve complex business bottlenecks by architecting modern backend systems and advanced AI agentic workflows.

You will combine software engineering expertise with consultative selling skills, helping customers understand how our technology can solve their most important challenges. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing business value with senior stakeholders, designing technical architectures, writing code, and presenting working solutions to customers.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deploy AI & Agentic Workflows: Design, code, and deploy production-ready AI systems, specifically focusing on multi-agent frameworks, autonomous reasoning, and advanced prompt-engineering/RAG pipelines.
• Rapid Client Integration: Embed into client environments to architect and ship clean, modern backend integrations (microservices or modular monoliths) that power AI capabilities.
• Iterate at Lightning Speed: Move fast, think on your feet, and juggle multiple parallel technical challenges without losing momentum.
• Bridge Tech & Value: Work directly with client stakeholders to turn abstract business requirements into working, intelligent software in days, not months.
• Shape the Core Engine: Bring deep insights from the field back to our internal team to continuously evolve our core AI tech stack.

Requirements

• AI-First Mindset: You have deep, practical experience with Artificial Intelligence. You understand agentic approaches (autonomous agents, tool-use, multi-agent orchestration) inside out. For us, a profound understanding of AI behavior and architecture is far more critical than just knowing web frameworks.
• Strong Tech Fundamentals: Solid production experience in backend technologies and architectural patterns.
• Full-Stack Competency: You can confidently navigate modern web stacks. While your primary strength lies in backend and AI architecture, you have the versatility to seamlessly jump into the frontend when a project demands it.
• Technical Pre-Sales & Executive Communication: You have a proven track record of working closely with clients in a pre-sales or consulting capacity. You don't just speak code; you speak business value. You can command a room of C-level executives, scope complex commercial pilots on the fly, and turn technical alignment into closed deals.
• Very good level of Polish and English language (at least C1 in both)
