Job summary

GMV, a technology group with space sector initiatives in Warsaw, is seeking engineers to work on Flight Dynamics System projects for satellite missions. You will design FDS components, develop orbital mechanics algorithms, and participate in validation campaigns at client sites while coordinating with the client to capture requirements.

The role offers a hybrid work model, a relocation package, and ongoing career development, with English and Polish language proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in software design and development.
• Experience developing algorithms related to orbital mechanics (trajectory optimization or orbit determination).
• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher) and Polish (C1 level or higher).

Responsibilities

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will participate in software development projects for the Flight Dynamics System (FDS) of several satellite missions. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the design of new FDS (Flight Dynamics System) components
• Implementing the orbital mechanics algorithms required to support new satellite missions
• Participating in validation campaigns, including on-site acceptance at the client’s facilities
• Maintaining contact with the client to understand their needs
• Managing the warranty phase, providing bug fixes in new FDS versions as agreed with the client

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for graduates with:

• A master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Experience in software design and development
• Experience developing algorithms related to relevant areas of orbital mechanics, such as trajectory optimization or orbit determination
• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher)
• Proficiency in Polish (C1 level or higher)
