Amazon Inc. in Poland seeks a Software Development Manager to lead a 12-person firmware team in Gdańsk, delivering embedded software for Ring and Blink devices. You will own release trains, drive platform convergence, and mentor engineers to sustain products already in customers' homes.

You will also champion AI-native tooling, collaborate with product and QA teams across regions, and report progress to senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams
• 3+ years designing or architecting systems

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of firmware engineers in Gdańsk delivering embedded software for Ring and Blink devices.
• Own the release train for products: scope, schedule, OTA rollout decisions, and quality metrics.
• Drive convergence of device firmware onto a common platform and handover to sustaining.
• Drive AI-native engineering, adoption of coding agents and AI review tooling, report progress to leadership.
• Hire, develop and retain engineers; conduct regular growth conversations and build a senior bench.
• Partner with product, TPM, QA, cloud and hardware teams in Poland and the US; represent the team to leadership.
