Ring firmware/AMZN Dev Cntr Poland sp. z.o.o in Gdańsk region lead a team of firmware engineers to develop and sustain embedded software for Ring and Blink devices. You will own the release train and coordinate OTA rollouts, ensuring product quality and timely updates in customers’ homes.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with product, TPM, QA, cloud and hardware teams across Poland and the US, and driving AI-assisted review tooling to improve cycle time and defect detection.

Competenze

• 3+ years of engineering team management.
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience leading embedded software or firmware development for connected consumer devices.

Mansioni

• Own the end-to-end systems development life cycle.
• Deliver against project plans and ensure timely results.
• Manage day-to-day engineering activities within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Mentor staff and build the engineering team.
• Architect and develop robust technical designs with engineers.
• Report status to management on development, quality, operations and performance.
• Maintain and improve software frameworks for development.
