AMZN Dev Cntr Poland sp. z.o.o in Gdańsk seeks a Software Development Manager to lead a ~12-strong firmware team delivering embedded software for Ring and Blink devices.

You will own the release train, OTA rollouts, and quality metrics while guiding the convergence to a common platform. You will collaborate with product, TPM, QA, cloud and hardware teams in Poland and the US, hire and mentor engineers, and drive AI-native tooling to improve development, review, and testing in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of designing or architecting distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall software/firmware development lifecycle for Ring/Blink devices.
• Manage day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Mentor and develop engineers; build and scale the engineering team.
• Partner with product, TPM, QA, cloud and hardware teams in Poland and the US; report status to leadership.
• Lead release trains, OTA rollout decisions, and quality metrics (device offline rate, live view success, reboots).
