Job summary

SD Solutions is recruiting a QA Team Lead for a FinTech platform. You will build, mentor, and guide a new offshore QA team, aligning with our Israel-based QA group to scale automation and ensure high-quality releases.

You’ll balance manual and automated testing while upholding strict security and data governance standards. Ideal candidates have ISTQB/CSTE or equivalent certification, 1–2 years leading QA teams, and 2–3 years in FinTech QA, with strong API, mobile, and database testing

Qualifications

• Certification in software testing (ISTQB, CSTE or similar) required.
• 1–2 years of experience as a QA team lead required.
• 2–3 years QA experience in Fintech/Banking required.
• Familiarity with PCI and data privacy standards and risk mitigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field required.
• Experience with API testing and mobile app testing (iOS/Android) required.
• Proficient in MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Knowledge of TypeScript for automation scripting required.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools (Playwright, Appium).
• Experience with Jira and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; independent and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow offshore QA team with a focus on modern test automation.
• Collaborate with Israeli QA leadership to align testing strategies and releases.
• Uphold global quality standards for automation and manual testing.
• Coordinate daily with development teams to unblock issues.
• Balance multiple testing priorities, both manual and automated, to drive results.
