Job summary

Moniepoint is seeking a Product Design Lead to guide a small, high-performing design team across multiple products. You will balance hands-on design with strategic leadership, driving user-centered solutions that align with business goals and regulatory expectations.

You will mentor designers, ensure timely delivery, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and executives to shape an ambitious design vision.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating leadership of design teams with measurable impact.
• Experience delivering end-to-end product design in fintech or SaaS.
• Strong communication with product managers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of product designers, aligning priorities and delivering high-quality work on schedule.
• Mentor and inspire the team through feedback, coaching, and skill development.
• Oversee timelines, roadmaps and design workflows while contributing directly to key projects.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and executives to translate strategy into design.
• Advocate for user-centred design using research, usability testing and insights.
• Ensure design consistency and scalability with design systems and atomic principles.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design for a diverse user base.
• Partner with analytics and product teams to measure impact and optimize experiences.
