Job summary

FIS is looking for a Business Systems Analyst II to support client portfolios by serving as the key technical contact. You will translate business needs into tech specs, participate in releases, and help clients maximize FIS solutions, while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating multiple initiatives.

Role requires knowledge of card business processes and the ability to work independently or in teams, with a flexible schedule and occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries.
• Experience in analysis, programming, or issue analysis within financial services software.
• Proactive mindset with ability to seek clarification when needed.
• Strong understanding of card business, transaction processing or payment schemes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise diverse workloads and multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build strong technical relationships with client teams.
• Analyze client needs, estimate effort, guide to standard scalable solutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specs and secure sign-off.
• Document and maintain client system environments and configurations.
• Assist product demonstrations and identify revenue opportunities.
• Participate in release management to avoid impacting operations.
• Execute project plans for simple to medium-complexity initiatives.
• Provide 24/7 first-line Service Desk support on occasion.
