Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an HR Controlling specialist in Wrocław for a hybrid role combining in-office and remote work. You will analyze HR KPIs, build financial models, support budget planning, and ensure data quality while coordinating with Controlling and Finance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Controlling, strong Excel, German C1 and English B2, and a detail-oriented mindset; benefits include private medical care and international travel coverage.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Controlling.
• Strong expertise in Controlling and Financial Accounting.
• Payroll and Personnel Cost Planning knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of Compensation & Benefits, HR, Payroll, and FiCo.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (formulas, analysis, automation).
• Experience with Power Pivot and Power Query is an advantage.
• Good practical knowledge of controlling and HR systems/tools.
• German C1 and English B2 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and analysis of HR KPIs, personnel reports, and workforce statistics.
• Creation of financial simulations and forecasting models with Controlling.
• Preparation and coordination of budget planning with business departments.
• Analysis and explanation of budget variances related to personnel costs.
• Workforce efficiency planning and analysis.
• Calculation of annual HR-related provisions/accruals.
• Providing HR controlling metrics and steering parameters.
• Support departments in calculating options for collective bargaining and decision materials.
• Support departments in monitoring salary bands and employee classification within compensation structures.
• Supporting the calculation of variable compensation components.
• Acting as backup for other team members, including HR Controllers.
• Participating in project work related to HR controlling topics.
• Managing and maintaining HR-related data.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting relevant departments in calculating options for collective bargaining negotiations and preparing decision-making materials
• Supporting relevant departments in monitoring salary bands and employee classification within compensation structures
• Supporting relevant departments in the calculation of variable compensation components
• Acting as a backup for other team members, including HR Controllers supporting other entities
• Participating in project work related to HR controlling topics
• Managing and maintaining HR-related data

Our requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Controlling
• Strong expertise in Controlling and Financial Accounting (required)
• Knowledge of Payroll and Personnel Cost Planning is considered an advantage
• Understanding of the interaction between Compensation & Benefits, HR, Payroll, and Finance/Controlling (FiCo)
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (formulas, analysis, and automation)
• Experience with Power Pivot and Power Query is an advantage
• Good practical knowledge of controlling and HR systems/tools
• German language proficiency at C1 level and English at B2 level
• Ability to work independently with a solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent numerical skills with a focus on accuracy and data quality.
