Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Global Controlling FP&A professional in a hybrid setup in Poland. You will shape profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and governance across the organization, working with SAP-based processes and BI tools to drive accuracy and insight.
The role requires a degree in Finance or related, 3+ years in Controlling/FP&A, and fluency in English. German is a plus; flexibility for global coordination is expected.
This is a hybrid role. Upon agreement between you and your supervisor, you are entitled to a flexible arrangement where you will be able to split your time between working from the office and working remotely.

As a member of the Global Controlling CoE, you will be instrumental in driving financial transparency, performance steering, and the establishment of robust controlling processes across the organization.
The role focuses on profitability analysis, planning, and financial governance, ensuring alignment between business objectives, financial reporting, and operational execution. In addition, supports the implementation and monitoring of selected intercompany and transfer pricing processes.
A key contributor to the development and effectiveness of global controlling and financial governance within FME. Works with various stakeholder groups within Finance as well as the operational community.
Design, implementation and execution of robust processes and controls for financial planning, performance monitoring, and profitability analysis
Definition and coordination of budgeting and forecasting processes; monitoring the business profitability; performance analysis and variance tracking; close collaboration with finance teams to align controlling processes with business objectives
Definition and coordination of the annual standard cost update process in SAP; ensuring data consistency and alignment with planning assumptions; analysis of cost structures and drivers; collaboration with finance and operational teams to improve costing transparency and governance
Support the implementation and execution of transfer pricing models; monitoring of financial impacts on profitability; coordination of adjustments (e.g., debit/credit notes, true-ups)
Standardization and streamlining of processes, calculation templates, P&L segmentations, transaction mappings and cost classifications to improve efficiency and accuracy
Maintenance and governance of relevant master data (e.g., cost centers, allocation keys, service structures) required for controlling and intercompany processes; support selected intercompany processes (e.g., service charging); ensure data quality, consistency, and proper documentation across systems
Identification of opportunities for digitalization and automation to streamline workflows and increase productivity
Collection, preparation and analysis of financial and operational data to support decision-making, performance steering, and continuous improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or related field
Min. 3 years of experience in Finance with a focus on Controlling / FP&A
Relevant work experience in a Big-4 or multinational corporation in Controlling, FP&A or related Finance functions
Proficiency in financial analysis and experience in variance analysis and financial modelling
Strong understanding of SAP-based controlling and costing processes (standard cost preferred)
Analytical and goal-oriented mindset with a high affinity for numbers
High proactiveness, a high degree of readiness for action as well as robustness and flexibility
Technical knowledge: Good knowledge and strong interest in standardizing and automating reporting, controlling and governance processes
Languages: Fluent in English, German is a plus
IT skills: Experienced in Office 365 applications and SAP (ERP/BW); knowledge of BI tools and data handling (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI) is a plus
Global role, may need to flex working hours as required to meet deadlines or obtain country specific details
