Job summary

A leading steel and mining company in Poland is seeking an Industrial Controlling Support professional. This role involves supporting financial closing, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance and 3-5 years of relevant experience. You will work with tools like SAP and PowerBI, manage intercompany accounting, and prepare management reports. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are required, while German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and forecasting for the full Primary & Finishing chain.
• Manage intercompany accounting including monthly and quarterly cost settlements.
• Prepare management reporting and finance dashboards.
• Coordinate data collection and preparation of cost outlooks (monthly Flash, quarterly Forecast, yearly Budget).
• Prepare and validate cost bridges (e.g. HRC, HR/fixed costs).
• Prepare transfer pricing calculations and distribute to relevant stakeholders.
• Collect and consolidate data for energy costs, HR, fixed costs, and subcontracting; upload into systems and databases.
• Maintain and update reporting databases (e.g. FAST, GCB, PPM, SMAR, Crystal).
• Execute monthly and quarterly product costing runs in Crystal, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Prepare management reporting, finance dashboards, and departmental cost reports.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation (e.g. Sox controls, cost reviews).
• Handle Capex closing, reporting, and booking processes.
• Provide business support on ad hoc requests, including administrative tasks and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the full Primary & Finishing chain and Human Resources.

Manage intercompany accounting, including monthly and quarterly cost settlements.

Collect input data, prepare posting files, and perform preliminary checks.

Coordinate data collection and preparation of cost outlooks (monthly Flash, quarterly Forecast, yearly Budget).

Prepare and validate cost bridges (e.g. HRC, HR/fixed costs).

Prepare transfer pricing calculations and distribute to relevant stakeholders.
