Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Kraków is seeking a finance-focused student for data analysis and reporting support. You will assist with monthly and quarterly results, budgets, forecasts, and dashboards to enable clear financial visibility for business partners.

Department Overview

Business Finance team is responsible for analysis of financial reports, trends, risks and opportunities. We gather, interpret and evaluate financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts. Business Finance department supports a wide range of Motorola Solutions businesses and operations functions across Europe, Africa and North America region. We have several small subteams in Business Finance that’s why our team is unique - almost each position in our team has a different scope. You will have the opportunity to understand how our company operates and improve your analytical skills.

Job Description

Data analysis and reporting, Supporting monthly, quarterly reporting of results, Supporting budget, forecast, best estimate preparation, Preparation of dashboard and bridges to enable data visibility and analysis, Understanding of differences and ability to explain them to Business Partners, Close cooperation with other internal organizations i.e. Management, Project Controlling, Regional Controllers, product team, and others to resolve cross-functional matters, Peparation of ad-hoc reports to support Business Partners, Other ad-hoc analyses assigned by supervisor, Participating in new initiatives, process and system improvements.

Basic Requirements

Student status Field of study: Finance or Accounting Very good English, at least level B2+ Knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet, accounting entries Willingness to learn Good analytical skills and ability to link various data sources to reach conclusions Good Excel or G-Sheets skills
