Qualifications

Job description

As a Finance Transformation & Reporting Automation Analyst, you will lead the redesign and automation of how Finance plans, reports, and operates. This is a hands-on, build-oriented role for someone who naturally gravitates toward process transformation and enjoys eliminating manual work through AI, agentic workflows, scripting, and automation.

Rather than executing traditional FP&A processes, you'll help redesign them—building scalable solutions that improve reporting, forecasting, analysis, and decision-making.

You will work across a global finance organization, partnering with teams to simplify workflows, automate recurring processes, and develop more intuitive, timely, and actionable management reporting. A working knowledge of finance is important, but we are far more interested in someone who can transform a process through technology than someone who has spent years executing it manually. The ideal candidate is genuinely excited about AI and emerging technologies, constantly questions how work can be done better, and enjoys turning repetitive finance activities into scalable, automated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build AI-enabled forecasting, budgeting, run-rate, and expense analytics solutions, leveraging agentic AI and modern automation tools to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Partner with Finance teams globally to redesign reporting processes, simplify workflows, eliminate repetitive manual tasks, and improve the way financial information is delivered to management.
• Develop and maintain scalable reporting models, dashboards, and executive reporting, continuously identifying opportunities to automate recurring processes and improve analytical insight.
• Identify and lead finance process transformation initiatives, embedding AI, automation, and modern technologies into day-to-day FP&A and reporting activities.
• Support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making across multiple regions by combining strong analytical skills with innovative approaches to process automation and data visualization.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical use cases that improve productivity, strengthen controls, and enhance decision support across the Finance organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Data/Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of experience in finance, business analytics, process improvement, data analytics, automation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI and automation to solve business problems — building workflows, automations, or tools using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot), Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and APIs. This is valued above deep traditional FP&A experience.
• A proven track record of redesigning and automating manual processes, ideally within finance or business operations.
• Enough finance and FP&A knowledge to understand reporting, budgeting, and financial data flows — supported by strong Excel skills.
• A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a strong bias toward automation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with finance teams across multiple regions.
