Job summary

Marsh is seeking a talented finance professional to join our accounting operations in Warsaw, hybrid with in-office presence required at least three days per week. You will support strategic and tactical projects for Finance and Financial Systems, acting as SME and guiding small teams across IT, users, and senior management.

Responsibilities include preparing business cases, conducting data analysis, testing system enhancements, and driving process improvements in accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Demonstrable commercial experience in business analysis, preferably within accounting or finance.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating strategic documents including Project Business Cases, Assessments, and Communication plans.
• Collaborate with Financial Systems team and user groups to justify new system implementations.
• Research problems and provide tactical analysis related to projects.
• Test system enhancements and upgrades; liaise between IT and users to support daily operations.
• Analyze data as required and present findings to stakeholders.
• Lead small project teams as SME on tasks and prepare updates for senior management.
• Recommend process improvements based on analysis and mapping of accounting processes.
