Job summary

Kingfisher plc seeks a Finance Systems Analyst to support and develop our Group Finance systems landscape. You will bridge Finance and IT, enabling robust financial reporting and continuous improvement across the finance systems stack.

Join a team focused on upgrades, data integrity, and efficient processes, with hybrid work options in Kraków and a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

  • Finance background with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Oracle HFM (user, support or development).
  • Understanding of financial reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and English (B2).

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of finance systems, including integrations and related applications.
  • Develop and enhance Oracle HFM in line with business requirements.
  • Support system-related projects (upgrades, patches, data migrations).
  • Bridge Finance and IT, translating business needs into system solutions.
  • Analyze change requests, assess impact and data quality.
  • Design and implement system changes to improve reporting and efficiency.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across Finance and IT.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and upskilling within the Finance Systems team.

About The Role

We are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to support and develop our Group Finance systems landscape. This role sits within the Group Financial Control team and plays a key part in ensuring our financial systems are robust, efficient, and aligned with evolving business needs.

You will work closely with Finance, IT and external partners, acting as a bridge between technical and business teams while supporting continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of finance systems, including integrations and related applications
  • Develop and enhance Oracle HFM (metadata, rules, configurations) in line with business requirements
  • Support system-related projects (e.g. upgrades, patches, data migrations)
  • Act as a go-between for Finance and IT, translating business needs into system solutions
  • Analyse and coordinate change requests, including impact assessments and data quality improvements
  • Support design and implementation of system changes to improve reporting and efficiency
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Finance and IT
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and upskilling within the Finance Systems team
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
  • Background in Finance (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with Oracle HFM (user, support or development)
  • Understanding of financial reporting processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with both business and technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • English (at least B2 level)
