For our Operations Team based in Poznał, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Specialist to support our Finance department.
As a Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the financial growth of our organisation. You will collaborate closely with other teams, including Business, Operations and Product to optimise our financial processes and provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
About the role :
1) Financial Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payroll.
- Entering partner invoices in the accounting software and CRM and preparing and sending customer invoices
- Follow-up and establishment of partners' commissions
- Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors during audits and examinations.
- Stay up to date with relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
2) Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide comprehensive financial insights to support strategic decision-making processes.
3) Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyse budget variances, highlighting areas of concern and proposing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure budget compliance and optimise resource allocation.
4) Process Improvement and Automation:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Product team to implement technological solutions for financial automation.
- Continuously review and optimise financial systems and procedures to support scalability.
Our requirements :
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree and/or professional certifications is a plus.
- Proven experience (at least 3+ years) in finance roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of financial systems and software (e.g., ERP systems, spreadsheets, financial analytics tools).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations, including IFRS and Swiss GAAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Swiss financial regulations and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
- Fluency (written and spoken) in English. French or German is a plus.
