Job summary

IKEA is seeking a senior leader to own end-to-end operational excellence for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function. You will partner with Country organizations, Global Process Teams, Digital and IBM to deliver stable, efficient Finance & Procurement operations while shaping OSS's future.

You will lead cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, drive risk controls, and champion continuous improvement across global outsourced operations. Strong stakeholder influence at senior levels is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree and 8–10 years of relevant Finance experience, or 15–20 years in total.
• Minimum 8–10 years of managerial experience, including outsourced/vendor-managed ops.
• Experience leading cross-functional transactional Finance operations in a global shared services environment.
• Strong understanding of P2P processes, governance, controls, KPIs and CI.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational performance across the P2P tower with stable, compliant operations.
• Lead governance, monitor KPIs and service health; drive performance reviews with key stakeholders.
• Drive global standardization and promote best practices across countries and outsourced ops.
• Act as first line of defence by identifying risks, strengthening controls and ensuring compliance.
• Lead root-cause analysis; drive sustainable corrective actions and CI initiatives.
• Translate insights into recommendations for Global Process Teams and Digital.
• Partner with Country orgs, Global Process Teams, Digital and IBM to maximize value.
• Represent OSS in governance forums and advocate standardized ways of working.

As the operational leader for the P2P tower, you will act as the first line of defence, partnering with Country organizations, Global Process Teams, Digital and IBM to deliver stable, efficient and high-quality Finance & Procurement operations while shaping the future of OSS.

What we're looking for

• University degree and 8–10 years of relevant Finance experience, or minimum 15–20 years of overall relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 8–10 years of managerial experience, including outsourced/vendor-managed operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional transactional Finance operations and/or vendor-managed teams in a global shared services environment.
• Strong understanding of P2P processes, operational governance, controls, KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across Country organizations, Global Process Teams, Digital and IBM.

P2P specific responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across P2P activities
• Increase PO Compliance, Invoice Match and touchless processing through standardization and continuous improvement.
• Support adoption of global P2P standards, policies and operational controls.
• Ensure high-quality execution of Month-End activities and operational readiness.
• Develop the capability of the Operations Expert team and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
