Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced IS Project Manager to lead end-to-end projects, primarily in the Finance domain. You will coordinate across Finance, IT, and external vendors, manage multiple initiatives, and ensure alignment with business goals.

The role requires effective stakeholder management, strong communication, and the ability to operate in a hybrid work environment. Experience with SAP and PM certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or Finance environments.
• Experience working with SAP systems or supporting SAP-related projects.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end project management phases and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead delivery from start to finish.
• Experience managing multiple projects in parallel with shifting priorities.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills across different functions and cultures.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Project Management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end projects, primarily within the Finance domain.
• Act as the main point of contact across Finance, IT, and external vendors.
• Manage and align stakeholders, ensuring clear communication across groups.
• Monitor project progress with regular reporting and monthly health checks.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies with timely resolution.
• Support delivery of new initiatives, including transformation and AI-related finance projects.
• Facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
