Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Warsaw is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Finance Team. The role will support a prestigious IT client within facilities management, focusing on month-end close, invoicing, and contract reporting across EMEA.

The position requires 1–2 years in finance, fluent English, and strong Excel skills. You will collaborate with Finance Managers, client finance teams, and stakeholders across the region in a remote/hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance area (Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar preferred). In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Fluent English, both oral and written is a must
• 1–2 years of finance/accounting experience
• Advanced Excel data manipulation skills

Responsibilities

• Month end close for the countries in scope, including adjusting journal entries and resolving discrepancies
• Invoicing: manage invoicing process, prepare invoice backups, follow up on overdue debt
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of the accounts and handle ad hoc requests related to activities in scope

Job description

The Finance Analyst will be a member of the Finance Team, based in Warsaw (remote/hybrid), responsible for a number of EMEA countries. The role will be dedicated to a prestigious client from IT sector within the facilities management line of business. The main responsibilities will be to act as a contract controller during month end and invoicing as well as to provide effective contract reporting and financial guidance to the wider team. The Finance Analyst will be working closely with the Finance Managers, client finance team and other stakeholders located across EMEA.

What you will do:

• Month end:
  • Responsibility for month end close for the countries in scope,
  • Preparing adjusting journal entries (reclasses, accruals etc.),
  • Following up on any discrepancies and resolving issues in line with Master Service Agreement,
  • Ensuring the contract margins are in line with expectations and reflect reality,
  • Reporting and commenting on any unusual variances as needed.
• Invoicing:
  • Managing the invoicing process for the countries in scope,
  • Coordinating the preparation of invoice backups as per the contractual requirements,
  • Following up on overdue debt.
• Other:
  • Preparing monthly reconciliations of the accounts,
  • Resolving any other ad hoc requests relating to activities in scope.

What you will need:

• Knowledge & experience:
  • University degree in finance area (Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar preferred). In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Fluent English, both oral and written is a must,
• Some finance and accounting experience is required (1-2 years),
• Advanced Excel data manipulation skills.
• Strengths:

  • Some knowledge of iScala/SAP/Peoplesoft ERPs would be an advantage,
  • CIMA/ACCA in progress would be an advantage.
