Job summary

Solplanet is seeking a Technical Service Engineer - Utility Scale to deliver field service on utility-scale PV projects across EMEA. You will support installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of inverter systems and related equipment, while coordinating with customers and EPCs.

The role requires reading electrical diagrams, strong troubleshooting, and a proactive, customer-oriented mindset with readiness to travel across EMEA.

Qualifications

Degree or technical education in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Energy Systems or related field.
3+ years of field service, commissioning, troubleshooting or technical support in solar PV, power electronics, industrial automation, or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Provide field service support for utility-scale PV projects across EMEA.
Support installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of utility-scale inverter systems and related equipment.
Perform site inspections, technical audits, fault diagnosis and corrective actions with customers, EPCs and internal teams.
