Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Southern or Central Poland, preferably near Katowice, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź or Warsaw. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize advanced sorting systems, ensuring uptime and customer satisfaction with travel across Europe as needed.

You’ll train customer staff, prepare detailed field reports, and support Sales and Project Management while embodying TOMRA’s focus on sustainability and innovation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of field service, maintenance, technical support or industrial service experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel and hands-on technology passion.
• Fluent Polish and good English (written and spoken).
• Valid Category B driving license.

Responsibilities

• Field service work (commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance and repair) for Recycling in Europe.
• Provide detailed field reports after each installation or intervention.
• Timely reporting of activities, costs and other data.
• Train customer maintenance staff on site and with TSS Service Engineers.
• Provide on-call technical phone support and field response.
• Support Sales and Project Management.
• Ensure maximum performance of TOMRA Sorting systems in the field.
• Deliver effective field service with respect to costs and timing.
