Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an EPP III, Generator (3 - 150KW) and HVAC Technician for Jordan. You will perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on diesel generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army, including 150kW EPP III units.

Responsibilities cover shop and field environments with security clearance requirements. Applicants should have 3+ years of related experience and the ability to travel to multiple international locations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma; BA/BS + 2 years or AA/AS + 4 years or HS diploma + 7 years experience.
• Extensive diesel generator experience; knowledge of generator parallel systems and switch gear.
• Experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating and recharging refrigerant.
• Security Clearance: Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Willingness to travel to Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on 3-150kW generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army.
• Inspect, repair, and service 3kW to 150kW generators, AC/DC systems, and electronic control systems.
• Operate a Load bank during testing and fabricate wire harnesses.
• Some work in generator shop and some in field environments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
