Job summary

Siemens Energy in Poland is seeking a Generator Commissioning Engineer & Fact Finder to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and testing of generators and auxiliaries. You will provide expert technical guidance and documentation throughout project execution.

Successful candidates will perform inspections, coordinate commissioning activities with site management, and contribute to design improvements. Travel up to 100% is expected as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Electrical Engineering; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• General technical understanding and ability to work with technical documentation.
• Skills in electrical and mechanical maintenance for power generation or Oil & Gas, with willingness for hands-on work under pressure and challenging conditions.
• Experience in power plant operations and/or Oil & Gas operations and/or Siemens Gas/Steam turbine-set operations knowledge is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT applications; additional IT skills are beneficial.
• Understanding of relevant industry standards for Quality and HSE.
• Fluent in English and Polish (written & oral).
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive, innovative mindset and flexible travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and provide recommendations on generator components and auxiliaries based on specifications.
• Support planning and coordinate commissioning and installation activities with site management.
• Participate in process and system design improvements and internal review meetings.
• Execute cold and hot commissioning tests from single components to full systems, including verification and reporting.
• Identify and resolve technical or scheduling issues, escalating complex problems as needed and providing technical support.
• Document equipment conditions, prepare operation readiness tests, and perform daily team or individual duties.
